Difficult to get over shoulders

I am 5’8 and 145 pounds, at got a size large. went over torso fine but nearly impossible to get my shoulders through, heard a few stitches tear once i finally got it up. Also was hard to get off after trying on. But once it’s on it’s great. Also the belt was too big but i can make it work. Super cute on but just wish it wasn’t such a struggle to get over shoulders ! Looks exactly like the picture:)
